Where can I find statistics on animal accidents and fatalities during airline transport?
Answer
Please see the USDOT's Air Travel Consumer Reports: a monthly product of the Office of Aviation Enforcement and Proceedings (OAEP). The report is designed to assist consumers with information on the quality of services provided by the airlines. Look for the section called "Airline Reports of the Loss, Injury, or Death of Animals During Air Transportation."
