Airline Certificate Information database: The Aircraft Registration Inquiry database provides aircraft registration information through fourteen different queries These queries provide information about current registered owners, documents filed, aircraft dealers, and more. We've included a definitions page to help visitors who may be unfamiliar with some of the aircraft registration terminology.

Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS)

TranStats: Click on "Aviation," then "Air Carrier Financial Reports: Schedule B-43 Inventory" (Click "Download") 

  • Note most carriers request confidentiality for their airframe cost data)

  • Includes year aircraft began service

  • Serial number

  • Tail number

  • Owned or leased

  • Operating status

  • Number of seats

  • Make/model

  • Capacity

  • Acquisition date
