Where can I find statistics on public transportation?
Answer
Please see the National Transit Database (NTD) provided by the Federal Transit Administration (FTA). The NTD records the financial, operating, and asset condition of transit systems helping to keep track of the industry and provide public information and statistics.
The Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) provides some transit data resources at https://www.bts.gov/topics/transit
