Why does TranStats have missing Service Classes in Schedules T-1 and T-2?
Answer
Service classes K, V, and Z were removed from Schedules T-1 and T-2 in the Air Carrier Summary Data because they were duplicates of other service classes. This duplication was causing confusion and misuse of the data.
-
The Z class in T-2 was restored because the fuel consumption data was linked to that class.
-
Since there was no similar situation with T-1, those classes were omitted.
-
You can add the remaining service classes to get the totals:
-
K = F+G
-
V = L+N+P+R
-
Z = K+V
